July 1st 2009 – After a decade of dedication to Butter, Oliver has retired and moved away. We'll miss you!

July 2nd 2009 - Vlad takes over all operations and ownership of Butter.

Aug 10th  - Butter gets a NEW Mens bathroom!

Aug 15th – Old stinky furniture is thrown out and NEW Drink Shelves are installed all around the bar.  

Aug 20th – Butter Launches INCEST Thursday Nights – Where The Industry and The Scene Come together!

Aug 21st – Butter gets a FaceBook & Twitter Account… hook up and connect!

Aug 23rd – August heat wave prompts the installation of 4 new ceiling fans for Better Butter Ventilation.

Aug 27th – Butter’s Kitchen Trailer gets remodeled on the inside for better food service.

Sept 9th - I saved 10% by switching to Geico for my auto insurance!

Sept 14th - New Beer Cooler and Dish Washer are installed behind the bar!

Sept 14th – Dennis Officially Becomes Butter’s NEW Operations manager and Program Director. WOOT!

Sept 20th  - New Rope lights are installed inside and underneath the bar.

Sept 21st  – Butter gets a new coat of paint on the front of the building.

Sept 22nd - Butter’s Video system and Wall-O-Vision undergoes renovations.

Sept 23rd - Butter Gets a NEW ATM!

Sept 23rd – Butter Hosts SF Bay Guardian’s ‘SEX’ Scene Issue release Party

Sept 27th - Butter’s Folsom St Block Party and BBQ are on Hit and New Singing Sunday Karaoke Night is launched!

Oct. 11th - Butter makes a noteworthy donation to the SFPD Police Activities League that provides underprivileged teenagers involved in gangs and violence a healthy outlet with after school sports programs.

Oct. 13th - Butter now has a POPCORN MACHINE! Enjoy FREE popcorn with extra butter during our Happy Hours from 6p-10pm to go along with the movies on our Wall-o-vision!  Just keep in mind that your Mom's not here to clean up after you, so don't make a mess, cause it's self-serve Popcorn Buffet.  

Oct. 22nd - FLAVORED PREMIUM JELL-O SHOTS!!!  Butter now uses (sometimes) Smirnoff Vodka TWIST Flavors to compliment it's delicious Jell-O Shots!!! Orange Jell-O shots will be made with Smirnoff Orange Twist, Strawberry Jell-o Shots with Strawberry Twist... and Cherry, Blueberry, Lime, lemon... etc.   You get the idea.

Oct. 24th - Butter Features a PREMIUM Well:   Because we love you and care about your liver as much as our own... Butter has upgraded our Well Alcohol to ALL Premium Brands.    Enjoy Seagram's Vodka, Seagram's Gin, Cuervo Silver Tequila, Mayers Platinum Rum & Bols Triple Sec (yes the 21 proof!) as our well products without any Increase in Price!    How do you like them apples!?!

Oct 30th - Happy Haloween everyone! Be safe!

November 3rd - Bathrooms have been improved a bit. Let em rip!

November 18th - We received a whole new batch of Butter Visors! $10 each! (yeah, we know, more gear hopefully coming soon)

December 9th - We will be closing this year for xmas weekend! Wow a weekend off!

December 15th - New heating and ventilation system installed and working!

December 16th - Working a little too well perhaps...

Decmeber 31st 2010 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

January 12th - After recovering from the holidays, construction continues... Emergency Sprinklers installed!

January 29th - Popcorn machine broke! OH NO! Parts have been ordered, hopefully we will have the popcorn back soon. In the meantime, enjoy our delicious HOT FRIES!

February 9th - Butter launches FLIPSIDE.. a weekly wednesday night of Deep, Sexy, Soulful and Funky HOUSE music. Always Free...

February 14th - Happy Valentines Day! We received our 650th Yelp review, still hanging on to 4 Stars overall! Butter Loves Ya!

February 19th - Someone lost a jacket. I hope they find it.

March 4th - Popcorn is back and it is DELICIOUS!

March 7th - Butter signs up for UFC 129 on April 30th! Jake Shields vs. GSP! BRING IT! Stay tuned for info...
